I think I will cry if Cheers is released now. It is NOT supposed to be released! Use Cheers to finish the era, not just to cover up some "will it flop, will it not" song. CKB might blow up, and Def Jam are hindering its success by releasing Cheers.

Oop.
But CKB
I kinda hope she does something with Cheers though. Idk if now is the right time, since I know she'll release the Re-Release/EP single soon, but I need a MV for Cheers.

You gurls need to pony up and realize that Cheers is coming and is going to be the smash CKB and MD couldn't be. CKB got a ****ing -123 on POP today. Stick a fork in it, the **** is done.

Rihanna has almost finished her US leg of the Loud Tour. If Rihanna promotes CKB, radio will pick it up. Its iTunes postion tells us that this song has the potential to be a Top 20 hit. I don't see why Def Jam would send out a new song right now, when Rihanna is so close to be able to promote CKB.

I know, but Cheers isn't the one that is in the 20's of iTunes and waiting, about to blow up with some promo.

CKB is too boring, its too hot out here for this ****, I don't wanna be in no bed with anyone. I wanna be out getting drunk, sipping vodka, showering in Jameson & Bud Light. That's what it is, and sip that freaking tea. Bye!

Ok guys, I was bored and so I decided to put up my guesses as to what Grammy nominations Rihanna will get this year. There is a bit of hope in these noms, but I don't think they are far off what will actually happen.
Record of the Year
- Only Girl (In the World)
Best Pop Solo Performance
- Only Girl (In the World)
Best Pop Duo/Group Performance
- S&M (feat. Britney Spears)
Best Pop Vocal Album
- Loud
Best Dance Recording
- S&M (feat. Britney Spears)
Best Rap/Sung Collaboration
- What's My Name? (feat. Drake)
- All of the Lights (Kanye West feat. Rihanna)
Best Short Form Music Video
- Man Down
Rihanna has a fairly good chance at the Grammy's this year, I think.

And what about
Album of the Year? ==> Loud
Song of the Year ==> What's My Name? or Only Girl or maybe S&M
Best Pop Solo Performance ==> California King Bed

Some of these are great but I don't think Rihanna is going to get 8 nods. And I don't want her to get any since Rated R was snubbed and that was the perfect album for the Grammy's. Loud getting any instead of it is just weird.

I don't think Loud is going to get Album of the year, unfortunately. I think AOTY will be GaGa, Beyonce, ADELE, Kanye and some unknown artist. That kinda seems to be the formula for the Grammy's.
I didn't include Song of the Year because that is awarded to the songwriters. Rihanna wouldn't be awarded anything, as she didn't write the songs.
California King Bed MIGHT be able to get a nom, but it isn't enough of a "hit" YET to be nominated, in my opinion.

AOTY at the grammy's is a joke either way, so I don't care about it.

I don't think Rihanna will get all of the nods, but I just listed the ones that I personally think she is eligible and likely to be nominated in. She will be left out of some categories, but she will be nominated in others... just covering all bases, haha.
It is a crime that Rated R didn't get nominated for anything last year, but I still hope that Rihanna is nominated/wins Grammy's this year. Loud isn't horrible, it deserves to be nominated for the Pop category. Its just something that the Navy will always have in the back of our minds, and we have to move on.

I think she'll get 3-5 of those but they all seem VERY likely. I want some non-collaborative nods. I need her to start winning more for her own material.
We will. It's just a shame. Loud is as good of an album as Rated R in my opinion but I thought Rated R would be the kind of album that would sweep the Grammy's and it didn't get a single nod. It's sad that that era is so underrated because albums like that only really come around once in a lifetime for an artist.

Yes, I hope Rihanna gets most of her nominations for Only Girl and Loud, just so we can say that they are Rihanna's win, not aided by someone else. But the Grammy's have to keep up the tradition of nominating a Rihanna song in the Rap/Sung category, hopefully WMN? because it is Rihanna's song.
Exactly! I was so confused why Rated R wasn't nominated at all. It was critically acclaimed, it was amazing, it even had a #1. MAYBE the Grammy's were a bit mad that Rihanna didn't perform the year before, and so didn't nominate her much.
I do realise how stupid that reasoning is, but its the only thing I can come up with for why Rated R wasn't nominated. One of the Grammy's least intelligent decisions, thats for sure.
