Michigan was lost to third party voters. But I'm still shocked about Pennsylvania, which was a percent split. I also thought it was the least likely of the Michigan/Wisconsin/Penn states to flip.

I'm shocked about some of the NC counties that went red this time around. I poked around at the NY Times precinct map and was surprised to find out that the precincts by my old college voted for Trump.

What a disgrace! It just helps solidify why I don't go there anymore.

I was just silent mostly. Slightly angry. I kicked a lot of stuff after Trump's speech and just went to "bed", aka trying to come to terms with everything from Twitter. I just had to call off for work because I would be working in 2 hours and I was not going to deal with folks on this leaning-conservative campus. But I didn't really react strongly until Hillary's concession speech and at that point I was just crying my eyes out. Tbh I'm glad Hillary gave it in the morning cause it released a lot of pressure that sleep couldn't erase. And then Obama coming out to say the sun still rise...

Honestly what a slap in the face. Now I need to make sure I get everything in order very soon. Some effects from a Trump/GOP government will take time to establish so I'm praying they don't **** something up immediately. But I'm just preparing for an economic collapse at this point because I'm quite superstitious of history.

The mature Dems are probably understanding that America's issues are bigger than establishment vs anti establishiment or dems vs republicans. The others are going to care about their own interests first

Dems and Republicans have to work together to turn it around.

I'm glad many of them understand this.

Leave the hair splitting, woulda coulda shouldas and trying to change the outcome (almost impossible) to those that have the time to debate about it and push the ball to an inevitable standstill

I never said they didn't; however, the same people that used the electoral map predictions when their fave was predicted to win are going against it because their fave didn't win.

unless i'm expected to believe that if Trump did win the popular vote and clinton won the electoral vote that people would be equally up in arms.

Even after years of complaints it still is in tact.

So many process and programs are in place and face criticism...that doesn't mean that they are automatically going to get abolished because of a petition and/or electors that were so pro hillary that they still are unable to handle the defeat properly.

NY, TX,CA and FL are not going to have even more weight than other states based on popular vote.
