i know that BOMT is certified 14x platinum, it has sold 12.5 million in total (soundscan sales + BMG sales), but isn't OIDIA undercertified? it has sold like 10.25 million in soundscan sales alone, so i'm sure it deserves like an 11x or 12x platinum certification.

on another note, i think Boston, The Beatles, Lez Zeppelin, Pink Floyd, AC/DC, the Eagles, and Fleetwood Mac are over-represented in the all-time best-selling chart because when records were replaced by cds many people bought a second copy of the album. Most cds that were released after the 80's didn't really have that sales advantage that albums released pre-1990 did.

Don't get me wrong, I like OneRepublic, but their Rolling Stones review is pretty accurate. They have no originality outside of Apologize. And I think that Celine's review is over exaggerated. Yeah, the CD doesn't live up to its name but it's not as bad as they say it is.

i know that it sold 14 million world wide... but i wasn't sure if the chart they had given was for the world or just the US ... therefore i just said 10mil + ... but thanks peeps
