Naturally it was on repeat the whole day and it was probably the best day to be a Demi fan.......EVER!!

I think I went to sleep and woke up at... just before 5 am, cause I'm pretty sure that's actually when it came out, even though that means it was 4 am in the UK...
Anyway, I hardly slept anyway cause I went to bed late too
I woke up, waited for it to be released...
And then Rob was so nice to send me the song over email before he even listened to it himself... ^^
He had a US iTunes, I didn't
So then I listened to it till like 7 am. I loved it from the beginning already. I also gotta say I was pretty tired which I even noticed back then made me not able to judge the song perfectly, yet I loved it, but it felt not complete for me.
However then i went back to sleep, woke up quite late, listened to it again and I totally loved it ^^
I've always loved it tbh. Also cause it was kinda personal to me too

When I first heard Skyscraper, I felt goosebumps. Although I kinda heard very minimal similarities with Ashley Tisdale's Me Without You (which I also like), the soaring vocals from the bridge ('run run run' part) to the final chorus (where she belts 'go on and try and tear me down') really froze me with awesomeness. The emotion and the obvious glow in the vocals of Demi really made the song an amazing one.

And initially, I thought it'll be a staple song in singing contests, although I also thought it's a VERY difficult song to sing.

I remember!! I'm not sure, i think i stayed up until 5AM in my country and bought the song just as it was released.
I listened to it and it was pretty heavy. I didn't expect it AT ALL! And i sure listened it 40 times on the first day. It was EXCITING!
I hope with her next lead single it'll be similar, but then also with a good radio run and all

vocally it's better than the PCA performance, but i think she had better performances. I mean, it was solid. But she could still do MUCH better.

Yeah agree. I meant she's been practising since the PCA, i enjoyed this one more than that. But it's not my fav of all live performances ever. But i think all together this song is hard for her to perform live with all the lows.. She's still trying to perfect that and it will take time.

Sooooooo...When I first heard Skyscraper I thought "Oh.... boringgg" hahah it's true! I was sit on a step outside my home with my laptop...
It wasn't early... I think it was 11 or 12 am... I actually didn't even know that Skyscraper was.. released *not my fault *
I listened to Skyscraper only once, then I listened to it again 2 or 3 days later .. AND I LOVED IT more.. and more..and more... and more... and then it became my favorite song, I really needed a song like Skyscraper

i am not ashamed to say that the 1st time i heard it i cried, the 2nd time i squealed like a fangirl, the 3rd time i tried to sing along and completely failed the 4th time i sung it better....but still thank god i was home alone ( i cant sing for my life), the 5th time is how it got stuck in my head because youtube spazzed out on me and kept playing the 'run run run...' part over and over again, and it was on repeat till the end of august - beginning of september....so yh that my story
