The one song she performed at a major award show that wasn't a single. Capiol needs to start making her singles songs that she can sing good all the time.
Russell and Katy split last December, so Russell is furious that Katy is STILL using their breakup as a way to boost her career!
A source revealed to Star that Russell Brand “hit the roof” when Katy Perry dished about their split in her new documentary Part of Me – now Russell is fighting back!
“Russell is furious that Katy is still dragging his name through the mud,” the source says. “He’s been doing everything possible to move on, including immersing himself in Kundalini yoga, dating, and burying himself in work. He’s frustrated that she won’t stop talking about it.”
In Katy’s documentary, viewers see Katy hysterically crying over her failed marriage with Russell insisting, “I’m trying to save my marriage.” This infuriated him.
“He politely tolerated her using the breakup to sell the song “Part of Me,” but it galls him that Katy is trying to make like she was victimized,” the source reveals. “He called her and yelled at her, asking for her to just let it go.”
But Katy doesn’t see anything wrong with it.
“Katy says she uses her life for inspiration — and Russell was a big part of her life.”

The 'Part of Me' singer - whose divorce from ex-husband Russell Brand was finalised over the weekend - wants to take a substantial time off work so she can finally get over her heartbreak.
A source said: ''Ever since Katy split from Russell in December, she's been saying she wants to get away from everything and truly heal her heart.
''Katy's said she wants to jet off to a place where she's never been. She's planning a three-month vacation with her brother David and one of her best pals. They've provisionally booked a trip to South America, starting off in Peru and doing the Inca Trail to Machu Picchu - something Katy's always wanted to do.''
Although she is currently dating Florence + The Machine guitarist Rob Ackroyd, she has said it's not serious and she is keen to have some fun while she's away.
The source added to heat magazine: ''Katy's realised that she can't date anyone so soon after her divorce. She wants to have fun. She's desperate to 'live it up'.''

I thought of this weird set up for an album last night but I feel like it would be something Capitol would think of
It would be like have 10 tracks on the album, but only have 2 of them as singles so she can really experiment. Then put the remaining 4 or 5 on the deluxe version. Nicki did that with VVV and SB. It ensures that they'll still have high singles sales since not that many people buy deluxe, but allows for artistic freedom as well. Either way anything she does ATRL will drag her for it. She could be the second coming on Evanescence next era but it will be "THIS SONG SOUNDS GOOD! IT MUST BE GENERIC!"

She lived in Japan (still does) and I think that was one of the reasons why Katy took the extra look at this lovely fan.

Putting potential singles on the album is actually smart. A lot of artists do that.
I might be buying The Complete Confection. I had waited out buying Teenage Dream and when I finally was going to buy it they announced CC. But that cover is so hideous, I can't handle being seen with it. But I want all those bonus tracks
