It's so pathetic that she missed the window and the album is still not ready. She had 3 years to finish it and now she has to stall, she's lucky there're Olympic Games this year.
Remember that altho Katy is the artist and she stands behind what she does... this is not JUST her song from HER album. It's an anthem for the Olympics... I think some of the "disappointment" stems from wanting a legit lead single for Katy's next era... and getting this...

I'm not in Australia right now but I'm not surprised radio is playing it. Radio even played DH/WOA when they were promo singles, and that Ellen theme song P!nk wrote. They're the queens of Australia.
Rise definitely has to be on KP4, just not the lead single. Ur So Gay is a perfect example. If it goes #1 she'll literally have no choice but to include it.
I still can't believe it. I didn't think she could outdo Roar in terms of instant hype but instead of just one pop girl's career, she killed two this time.
