This is the thing I don't get even if it happens during 4 Minute set, it has nothing to do with them. They didn't build the buildings or chose the venue themselves since it was a festival. Plus even if it was their concert, I don't think the members chose themselves the venue.

It's pretty tragic. But as said, No one would be holding responsible 4Minute for the accident even if they were performing at the time of the accident, so why Cube feels the need to cover themselves is weird.

I think it was out of recoil after watching acts get skull dragged through other unrelated controversies this year.

I mean even Pitchfork capitalised on the fact that 4Minute were performing at the time instead of the actual deaths where WHO was playing was irrelevant, with a huge banner of the girls at the top.

You can't really blame Cube for not wanting association with that.

it's pretty much a public relations trap, too - they release an apology and people flame saying it's not about them, they say nothing and people flame for negligence, or they do this and get flamed for insensitivity.

The 4minute members expressed their sorrow in the Pangyo accident.

Regarding the accident at the Pangyo Techno Valley Festival on October 17, Cube Entertainment stated, "The festival was not 4minute′s exclusive concert, but an event in which many singers participated in."

"When 4minute was performing, all the members and staff did not know about the accident and only heard the news on their way back to Seoul following the performance," said the agency. "We hope that none of the spectators experience much damage from today′s accident."

Just moments ago, we broke news that during 4minute‘s performance at the The 1st Pangyo Techno Valley Festival, two fans were reported to have died, with ten injured after a fatal accident. Now, media are reporting the actual number to be 14 dead, 11 critically injured.

Reports reveal that around 5pm on October 17th, a ventilation window collapsed leaving over 25 fans to fall more than 3 stories down a vent during a performance by 4minute. Reports from Wikitree reveal that the fall was roughly 10 meters (3+ stories). Initial reports reveal that the ventilation may have collapsed due to weight, as there were a number of fans who climbed on top of the vent and crowded the area in order to get a better view of the performance.

While the story is still developing and it is early to tell, Sports Donga, SBS, and WikiTree are now reporting that 14 have died in this tragedy, with 11 more critically injured. Police have yet to release an official statement or number to the media.

gotta admit i didn't listen to this when it came out since i gave up all hope on Block B

after seeing it break 1m sold I figured something had to be up

turns out the song and video are actually good

Don't really get the Block B hype. Very Good is alright when I'm in the mood, but nothing else has really wowed me from them.
