Kelly is and always has been middle-of-the-road pop. If you go to her for legitimately interesting musical ideas or poetic lyrics, then you should probably stop. Lol. Her music is good, and she serves at least a few bops on all of her albums, so whatever. Her voice is just a bonus.

I remember the good old days when Genie In A Bottle and Baby One More Time were all the time on MTV (when it was the thing) i was such a happy gay kid...
(that's the only good thing i can say about britney though, good memories from more than a decade ago)
