It's the same in the UK.

I don't know if it's the same in America, but here in the UK a lot of black people get increased dosages of medication prescribed. It's usually based on the archaic belief that black people are more aggressive/tougher. I know someone who was falsely committed because of this bull****.

I actually went to get my diagnosis for a certain mental disorder earlier this year. They didn't actually give it to me because I already had a diagnosis when I was in school. I don't believe that Over medication should be the answer, but I believe that therapy sessions and talking it over with someone is key.

I would consider meditation or seeking out a support group before I put the first pill in my mouth

Speaking of mental illness and misdiagnosis

This is sorta related I guess but all through elementary to middle school I was in counseling for no ****ing reason. Until this day idk why I was selected. All we ever did was play board games too and all it ever did in middle school was ostracize me from the other kids and make me hate them even more.
