Gaga might be deconstructing her image in favor of a new direction, but this might also be for the best. ARTPOP proved no one cared for the antics anymore. I really hope she does an amazing video again though. That's what drew so many people in in the first place. That's the key. The second single needs this, AYo is begging for a big theatrical video.
It's sad if Gaga thinks as her fans proclaim to that this is what non-gays are checking for. Straights are the 95%. They made her, they lined her pockets. There's a reason why huge 'American Folk' stars are a thing that doesn't exist. Even if she went full on Country, there's still the matter of having a vagina, not to mention the baggage her name carries from who she used to be.
I can't accept that she's still chasing chart success while fully Laupering herself. There's no logic in it.
