Drake — Signed to HM Records
After the record label, Hyped Music Records announced the signing of a mystery artist — interest sparked throughout Hollywood, as well as on a global scale. Who would be the huge artist sitting next to Justin Bieber on the label? Leaks came among sites, claiming that the huge artist was leaving their current recording contract, and names came about such as Rihanna, Justin Timberlake, Lil Wayne, Florida Georgia Line, and more. However the rumors came down, and the truth became clear when Drake uploaded a video of him signing a contract with the title, '#NewBeginnings #CFH'. Nobody has a clue as to what the 'CFH' means; but ofcourse with HM announcing that the new signee would be releasing a mixtape, many already have attached that's it's supposedly related to that. Drake hasn't spoken on any music yet however; but he's now under HM's official site under their roster.
Drake is a multi-platinum selling artist, Rap Icon, and one of the biggest Urban artists of this generation. Singles that constantly spam radio playlists, millions of fans, and not to mention powerful moments have put him atop his empire. Coming off his 'Nothing Was the Same' Tour, he's taken a rest -- but now that he's back everyone's excited to see what's in store. Drake talked in a tweet saying, “Time is on you. Time is on you. New point of my career, new beginnings shine the light on you.” Drake currently has a CNN Special scheduled tomorrow, to where he will ofcourse, sit down and interview -- and that's where we're expected to get the full knowledge on this.
Onto news over at HM Records, fellow superstar signed onto the label Justin Bieber, hinted at a new special project he was working on today tweeting "Lots in store....ale the disco!", "Somebody get DJ Snake in here!". Fans currently don't know anything about the upcoming projects he's working on, but he told E! News last week he's focusing on movies, and when he does cross back into music he's coming hard at once. Atop making those headlines, he's also rumored to star in a high-budget action film that Paramount is developing. More information towards that will be soon ofcourse.
