Nowadays Starmie's main appeal is Rapid Spin though.

But when it comes to killing other sweepers, Alakazam does it better. He can outspeed 99% of everyone that isn't holding scarves.

That doesn't change the fact that Gengar remains one tier above Roserade. And honestly you shouldn't be using Shadow Ball on Roserade, because although it can counter Gengar, it isn't a good coverage move on specsrade.

Of course, Alakazam and Gengar are both great though. It just depends on what the team is, Alakazam is the better all out attacker but Gengar has the versatility over it.

I'm not here for Eelektross.

It is if I'm using it on OU... and Roserade's teir placement has nothing to do with it's relationship with Gengar... you should be mad that Roserade can slay your OU Pokemon if that's the case...

I don't play OU anymore though. And I'm using a UU team right now that has specsrade on it and the team has lost hardly any of it's battles so I think I should be able to input my opinion on the Roserade set from experience.

Because it is so slow. It can never do **** to my team anyway because it's always killed before it's able to attack.
