While I do agree that those who abstained from voting in swing states have less justification to be angry at the outcome of an election, the right to protest is fundamentally different from the right to vote.
Also, it's inappropriate and unusual to ask the protestors who they voted for. This is nothing more than an attempt to put down the protests.
