Basically all of this. Except remember that if you bog your portfolio down with everything, it may be too much. That's why I said excerpts are fine, alterations are not. With excerpts your basically taking a paragraph, a sentence, some examples, whatever to shorten your the entry for your portfolio IF YOU DEEM IT NECESSARY; then link back to the full version so they will see it. With an alteration you are basically changing your entry to something you didn't submit; that's a no. You have the ability to explain briefly each entry you choose to do, so it's up to you to determine if with the entire entry is what all you need or not.

It goes along to what I said above. If you deem it necessary to include your full improvement challenge then go ahead, if you feel excerpts will work best and tell them to look at your full improvement challenge then go ahead. I will also provide a link to your improvement challenge to the guest judges as well so they know where to go.
I really didn't think this would be that difficult and challenging to bring together. You're making a portfolio, a collection of your best entries/ideas to judges who may or may not have been following the competition. Since they haven't seen you at your possible worst, you want to show them your best. Since you can't talk with them one on one like in a real go-see, like a model would possibly do, you are able to give an explanation about the challenge and how it came about. You want them to see the ultimate best of you that you think shows that. If an entire challenge showed the best of you, post it all. If there were certain aspects to a challenge that showed the best of you, provide excerpts from that challenge and then link to the full challenge as like backup receipts/sourcing.

I'm not gonna get hung up on the "JUST NOT the entire entry included" because I see that as just saying to make sure you don't only submit the improvement section with the portfolio, and to make sure it's also submitted separately to the main judges.
Just need to complete the improvement challenge and add that to the folio, then I'll be ready to submit.
