Actually, looking at the later posts, you're correct. After the initial reactions people seem to have joined the discussion with civil replies.
Maybe whoever reported it viewed it as a flamebait thread against Nicki and the mods closed it to prevent a flame war.
It was definitely a worthy discussion, unlike that thread about Rihanna writing a book, which remained open for a good while.
