What I doo is you right click on the gif you want to use. Click "View Image." You should be taken to a page that shows only the gif, and the URL ends in ".gif" Copy that URL. And then place brackets around it. If the links you're using are from a folder to your computer and not a website, like MyDocuments/MyPictures/Gifs/whatever.gif then it won't work because it has to be an online URL.
