So finally decided to order the physical deluxe edition and got an instant rip..What really bugs me is the lack of full songs...I haven't waited so long for half the songs being just interludes or whatsoever. Same Ol' Mistakes is by far the best song on the record, very out of the box for Rihanna. Kiss it Better and Work are the only single-worthy songs imo, so I'm not surprised they went with the Drake collab.
Wouldn't be surprised if Ri released a very commercial and poppy album at the end of the year to make up for this disappointment.
You can tell she's way more in her element and more passionate about her Urban and R&B music. She can pull off both, but she just does urban more naturally. LOUD is cute though.
I struggle to differentiate the so-called "different Rihs".
For those saying Kiss it Better should be released in the summer needs to be reminded that the big "Summer Hits" are often times the song that gets released in April. They usually the one that ends up being SOTS. Because Billboard starts tracking for that in May. (which is still Spring).
