It makes all the sense in the world. I'm not talking about the singles themselves, I'm talking about him. He's unknown to a lot of people, his songs are very melodic and unchallenging to listen to, very AC. This was a great platform for an artist like him. Now he's gonna be a household name
I don't disagree. I think a lot of people got to know Bruno more after yesterday's show, probably is what made them buy his singles.

yea beyonce was EVERYWHERE before the superbowl, tons of inescapable self-promotion. Bruna got an ad like 2 days before and thats it, he's been under the radar
Yeah, I think Bruno had more to gain because he had so many naysayers. it was a predictable situation. Everyone was expecting failure, yet he surprised and garnered rave reviews. Basically, what many people, including myself, predicted.
She is performing at the Superbowl like all the LEGENDS --> Bruno performs next year
OMG Halo is back in the top 20, what kinda iconic sales boost --> Bruno with a MUCH bigger boost
Not to mention ratings decreasing and her becoming a laughing stock all over the internet.
food for thought, beyonce performed "End Of Time", which the GP was totally unaware of. So basically to the GP it was a new single, yet it didn't crack the top 100 after the superbowl. there is no interest for beyst her music!
Unorthodox Jukeboxx and 4 have both been out for more than a year before each artist performed at the Super Bowl. Plus Bey had more hype leading into hers w/ the Inauguration and all. Plus more people watched her set.
Did Bey have more hype ? yes. But, that was promoting people to watch halftime than buying songs from 2000-2011. Bey was never that big of a digital artist and the '4' era ended late 2011 so I don't get how u can compare an album that came out in late 2012 that is still releasing singles,videos and etc.
