You know that SHE is bothered by it though, and that she's seething that she never even got number one on iTunes with "Applause," let alone the Hot 100.
I just realized something: we really haven't had one of those super acclaimed, super zeitgeist capturing hits this year, have we? Like, I just realized it's November and we still don't have a shoo-in for the Pazz and Jop singles poll like we have in years past (2010 was "**** You!," 2011 was "Rolling in the Deep," 2012 was "Call Me Maybe," and 2013 was "Get Lucky"). Unless I'm forgetting something obvious.
