I was looking at the digital charts for November/December of the last 2 years, pre-Xmas boost. Given how the overall market declines each year, I was surprised that 2012 mostly had 1-2 songs each week selling at least 150k, while 2013 had 3-4 songs each week doing the same.

Also, kinda funny that after all this hubbub on iTunes this week, we're back yet again to:

In fact, currently the only pair with a longer stay on top is Sexy/We Found Love with 9.

And this is despite a 3-week break for the Shake/Bass pair: 1 because of Tay's promo song OOTW, 2 because Complete My Album cancelled out SIO topping iTunes for several days to the point that it wasn't T10 on HDS.
