The second half of Gody Language is obviously superior. The first half has duds like Promises and Sweet Music and the overrated RBW. The only dud on the second half is After Dark, which isn't even awful.
Chocolate followed by Obsession is like a gift from the gods, then that I Feel For You / Someday / Loving Days run is enchanting. Slo Motion should've been on the regular to close the album afterwards.
I didn't even know people cared so much about Sweet Music until this rate. I always thought it was b-side material and should've been replaced with City Games or Almost A Lover.

The first half slays hard with that 1-2-3 punch of Slow - Still Standing - Secret (Take You Home)
Then another one with Sweet Music - Red Blooded Woman - Chocolate
Then a streak of bops from I Feel For You to After Dark
I don't use Promises and Obsession, they don't really go anywhere and sound like they're the same song.
Replace them with Cruise Control and Almost A Lover and it's flawless from start to finish
