I agree but strangely that's definitely what they were going for.

I just KNOW this song will be a grower. The production is SPARSE that's the only thing. It's deliberate but it's a little unnerving. Will be weird in a club, I imagine a high profile remix will emerge.

Oh, no doubt. I didn't love this immediately the same way I did CMN (which people trashed when it first came out as a generic Calvin Harris cast-off) but after listening to it on repeat it's really starting to grow on me. I really like everything from the last verse on, perhaps because by then I've settled into the simple groove of the song.

Ok. I thought Will produced it lol. I have to say, my only problem with this song is that the production is kind of ****. It's very minimal, but not in a good way. Other than that, I think it's a cute bop.

I think "cute bop" is right on. It reminds me of something one would hear at the beginning of a romcom while the credits are rolling.

I played it a couple times on repeat. It's a definite grower. I don't like the non-chorus, but the pre-chorus/hook is addictive. Slay more than a bit, Chezza.

Eh, on first listen it's like an above average album track. I can see it growing on me massively, it's the kind of song I'd be begging her to release as 3rd or 4th single.

Definitely would not have picked it as lead single.

It's in reference to the rush of reaching the high point of a roller coaster. For her, their relationship just keeps taking her higher and higher.
