Before anything, can I just say Selena is stunningly gorgeous in the music video for this track? I wasn't really going crazy about this one when it was released, but the fact that she's doing solo this time seems interesting. Weeks after it was released, the song grew on me a lot and I believed the fusion of Indian music makes it more steamy and captivating. Is this Selena's sole entry? Stay tuned.

Debut Date: May 11, 2013
Weeks on Chart: 7 Weeks
Peak Position: #01[2]
Missing an inch from the Top 50 is another smash production of Macklemore & Ryan Lewis. After the overrated "Thrift Shop", I never thought I'd appreciate another single from these guys. But I was wrong. I admit it didn't catch my attention at first, but it definitely grew on me a lot due to its fun-to-sing-along-with chorus. These duo really had a blast this 2013 and seems like they won't stop this year.

♫"Whatever the weather, we gon' be better together. So what's up baby? What about us?"♫ | 50 · THE SATURDAYS, "What About Us"
Debut Date: January 26, 2013
Weeks on Chart: 1 Week
Peak Position: #19
Kicking off the Top 50 is another British pride courtesy of The Saturdays. I actually think Britain is the home of boybands and girl groups. Despite its very poor countdown performance, the song still managed to crack up the Top 50. This is because it grew on me a lot about half a year ago. I actually think the hooks are very catchy, classy and sassy.

♫"I can't find those silver lining. I don't mean to judge. But when you reach your speech, it's tiring. Enough is enough."♫ | 49 · NAUGHTY BOY f/ SAM SMITH, "La La La"
Debut Date: September 28, 2013
Weeks on Chart: 8 Weeks
Peak Position: #02
A back-to-back British appearance. I was seeing this track over and over the UK Singles Chart but I totally ignored it. Gave it a try once but I didn't like it. Not until I heard it on a music channel during a vacation. There I realized that this track is superbly awesome. Amazing production and haunting vocals. Is it just me who thinks the kid in the video is irritating?
