I think with UF's sales data for week 32 in the Top 10 coinciding with the week including the long 04 July weekend, UF should get a sales and streaming boost allowing it to tie the Top 10 record. I don't know if UF can break the record though. Since it's still selling around 65,000/week, I think UF will be past 7 million before it leaves the Hot 100. BL cleared 6 million one week quicker than UF , but UF will overtake BL by early to mid 2016.

UF had the unexpected boost in sales and streaming from a viral video on Sunday, right before that week's tracking period ended. I think that should be enough to boost the song back into the Top 5 and break the record with 26 weeks, but I can't be sure. The elevated levels of sales and streaming will carry over early into this week too, so UF should remain at #6 or #7 for its 30th week in the Top Ten. That would just leave two weeks to 32 (tying the record) and the second of those weeks is a three day holiday weekend which should benefit UF anyway. We'll see what happens I guess.

UF fell back to where it was most of last week by this afternoon. But it still had yesterday's boost in sales (which lasted into early today) and streaming, and the streaming boost might have outlasted the sales boost (there's no way to know right now). Also UF has always gotten a weekend boost, and this weekend shouldn't be any different. It's airplay losses the last two days, which count toward tomorrow's chart, were tiny.
Still, everyone else has UF holding at #6 while I have it rebounding to #5. But I was the only one to accurately predict the rebound to the Top 5 two weeks ago too. I feel good and pretty confident about 32 weeks in the Top 10, and I think UF can get week 26 in the Top 5 this week, but I'm uncertain about 33 weeks in the Top 10.

Bruno Mars hits the all-time Top 30 selling downloads this week, as its total rises to 6.136 million. HDD has the story today on their website. I don't have the exact total of downloads for this week, but I know Uptown Funk finished at #14 on Billboard/Soundscan with a bullet.
I know #13 sold 76,000 downloads and #15 sold 72,000 downloads. So UF sold between 72,000 and 76,000 downloads this past week, or about 10% more than Kworb's estimate of 67,000 digital singles.

Kworb has boosted his Uptown Funk prediction from 39k to 45k for this week (which should rise again). Airplay is flat, after 187 (27 Dec 14-1 Jul 15) days in Kworb's AI. With Earned It falling faster UF might sneak back into the Top 10 for a day or two, so I'm waiting a few more days before I give my final airplay report for UF. I think UF will get 60-65k this week, maybe more if we're lucky.
UF didn't get that 26th week in the Top 5 , which disappointed me, even though the song had a gain in sales (I'm not sure if BB counted the viral video toward streaming or not, because I don't remember that chart being bulleted that week. That probably cost UF that 26th week). The extended holiday weekend effect is still growing, with Ronson/Mars mostly in dark green. so UF should perform better in downloads and streaming this week than last week, and that should help UF tie the Top 10 longevity record. Right around Memorial Day UF had several days of very small decreases and even small increases. That happened Wednesday and Thursday, though Friday the loss was a little over -0.500. We'll see what happens with airplay through Tuesday.
Unfortunately, after this weekend, I don't see another reason for a boost until Labor Day and the VMAs. However, if Bruno Mars lined up a performance this weekend, that could extend his gains into next week, and might help him break instead of tie the record. Remember, the sales and streaming tracking period for the chart period after this is only 4 days, and airplay is only 5, so a televised UF performance due to the holiday could make the difference between tying and breaking the record with a shortened week.
I still expect a slow fall for UF between #s 11-20, probably 8-9 weeks. UF spent only one week at #18 on its way up the chart, so that would give the song over 40 weeks in the Top 20, and might keep it from breaking the record. I'm not sure what song holds the T15 or T20 record, but its surprisingly not How Do I Live, which only spent five extra weeks combined rising and falling between 11-20 (37 weeks total). That record could belong to Smooth, You Were Meant For Me/Foolish Games, Party Rock Anthem, Truly Madly Deeply, or Radioactive (or another song since streaming started). I'll look this up this weekend. TMD holds the T30 record (52 wks/1 yr exactly) Radio 2nd 50 wks, PRA 3rd 47 wks, and Radioactive holds the T40 record at 63 weeks. UF's quick rise until it reached the T5 was a good thing, as it helped with a long stay at #1, T2/3/5/10, but that may inhibit its chances of tying or setting longevity records further down the H100.
I'm not sure about T50, but Radio, I'm Yours, or HDIL seem most likely. There's no chance UF can break the H100 record set by Radio of 87 weeks because UF didn't need 20+ weeks to reach the T40, so that's one record UF won't beat, and there's no reason to worry about. Maybe 65-70 weeks if he cleans up at the Grammy's next February, bur that's about it. I'll look over this as the weekend progresses, since I can't really get out for the holiday.

Kworb upped the projection to 45k, but it'll probably increase further, so hold off before making any more edits.

Kworb kept his prediction at 45 K, but he admits with Apple Music he's not really sure if his across the board 10% decrease on top of what would have happened isn't for certain. However, two songs in the Top 20 had videos released with strong debuts, and another had a strong sales gain. The video releases were Lean On and Where Are You Now, and the Sales gains are for Fight Song, which is gaining at airplay. I have projected Hey Mama to be pushed out of the Top 10, as I have Good For You, due to second week sales losses (but it did great at radio and streaming). I have Lean On at 8, Uptown Funk at 9, Fight Song at 10, and Where Are You Now at 11. But I think we can expect UF to tie the Top 10 longevity record at best now, and not break it.

I see people in their predictions saying 48k, which is even better! That would put UF right at 6.3 million! I just wish Bruno would perform the song somewhere. I read on HDD Mark Ronson performed the song in the UK. HDD said Bruno "wasn't missed" because George Clinton stepped in. Bitch please. It's Bruno's song, and he should've been given equal credit. Bruno co-wrote and co-produced the song with Ronson in addition to singing lead on it. I guess at least that's better than Avicii, who has people sing and doesn't even give them featured status despite them cowriting the song too, but still Ronson and Mars should be billed equally for "Uptown Funk".

Bruno did jump back into the Top 10 on AI Sunday. Hopefully UF can hold on through Wednesday, and move back to the Top 10 in Billboard's HRS too!

I see you are still updating it up here . Right now the projection for this week is 36,000, but Kworb lowered his report for last week from 41,000 to 38,000. I need to see what his estimates were for the songs that BB has above and below UF on HDS, since they don't always match. Hopefully we can clear the 6.4 million mark this week. Thanks for keeping this up!
