Always a B-side, never an A-side. "Gold Dust Woman" was released as the B-side to "You Make Loving Fun" in the US, and "Don't Stop" in the UK, all of which appeared on the 1977 album Rumours.
Also, this is surprisingly not the highest-placing song to receive a 0. There is another yet to come.
Fun fact about the recording process: Apparently, after a long night of recording attempts, Stevie apparently wrapped her head in a black scarf at 4am, leaving only her mouth visible, in order to conjure genuine emotions through sensory deprivation. The more you know.
What the GP had to say:
The only person to comment on this song was (Surprise, surprise!) Buyonce1814, who said: "I really like the music to this song but overall it goes nowhere for me."
Originally intended to appear on Rumours, "Silver Springs" was delegated to B-side status (on the "Go Your Own Way" single) in 1977. Fast-forward to 1997, and a live version of "Silver Springs" is released as a single from The Dance. The original studio version has since been added to reissues of Rumours, thankfully, as it is a great song.
Also, the Swedish queen of folk and heartache did a cover a couple of years ago for a Fleetwood Mac tribute album. It's flawless and you can check it out here.
What the GP had to say:
andresg770 simply says it "got better as it went along", which is a sentiment shared by Eeveelution, who bestowed his 11 unto "Silver Springs". He says, "At first I thought, "Oh, this is cute" but then, over time, I realised what a flawless hymn it was. The way it evolves throughout the five minute run time is enthralling. Also, it is touching and #relatable lyrically and obviously the best song in the rate so it should win." He then makes a request: "Don't expose whoever gave the hymn a low score, baby I don't wanna know." You'll be glad to hear it didn't receive a score below 5! Just a lot of scores around the 7 mark.
Yes. That's why I'm participating in the Kylie Essentials Rate.

Buyonce1814, on the other hand... "A great classic but sadly I feel like there are more superior versions of it. I always preferred Sabrina's (Melissa Joan Hart) version to it." That says more about you than it does about the song, henny.
