Nick Jonas and Fifth Harmony have been the breakout acts this year. One is performing on the pre-show and the other is not performing at all while they got the "Ones to Watch" award last year. Yet we have Tori Kelly who has no success to date performing at the MAIN show. Something's fishy here.

It's uneventful, the VMA's live on performances and they didn't reveal any performers. Demi, JB and Nicki are also not known for amazing performances. If the show's hype dies after the opening act slayage ... that's not good for them.
