Unfortunately people didn't really gravitate to the "rock" Wayne, but I thought that he suited a rock style well. But he did actually still sell units and singles so it proved to be somewhat successful. I still believe that he didn't promote his rock style as much because he was looking at the long term success of Young Money ... Nicki and Drake. Nicki was just getting started on Pink Friday and Drake was just getting started with Thank Me Later. So I believe as the Young Money leader he had to make sure that they both were put first and he took a back seat ...
And look at Weezy now! Back on top of the game with two successful artists besides him on his label! Smart business man!
