She stopped using it pretty early during the IASF era, right after the Diva video I think. The Thierry Mugler costume design sketches and promotional photoshoot for the I Am... Tour book show that there was a custom gold version of the glove made for the tour but she never used it. I'm happy to see its return, and based on the ferocity of the vocal snippet we've been given it feels appropriate!
