The song recieved critical acclaim and some of the press dubbed it Japan's call to "My Heart Will Go On" due to its immense power and heartfelt lyrics dealing with the passing of a loved one. The single debuted at #1 and with combined digital and physical sales has nearly 1.9 million copies.
