Let's appreciate "I Love You" for a minute. The best of all the Max Martin songs on GL The only thing wrong with that song is the drumming. Did they even use real drums on that song? Probably some sort of drum machine. And it sounds so unnatural. But, meh, the song is brilliiant.
All the Max songs have drum machines. I mean you hardly though those perfectly spaced precise beats was an actual drumset?

I Love You and Smile suck
Yes, I'm aware all the Max songs use drum machines. It just doesn't work with WYWH and ILY. That's why the acoustic version of WYWH ***** all over the studio version.
And don't you DARE come for ILY like that. Smile, I'll accept. WYWH, definitely. But NOT ILY. Or else **** will get real.
I mean, why would she remember those lyrics all of a sudden? After all these years. What, is she just sitting around in her mansion, drinking a glass of red wine and listening to Let Go? It's so random.
Or, maybe she's re-recording LG for the 10 Year anniversary. Let Go Acoustic. Wishful thinking FTW
What The Hell is one of the worst videos she's ever done though. I mean the whole thing is cheesy as hell and then the product placement everywhere and for her own brands too I would've rather it be a "concert" video with cool shots as we saw it towards the end, Losing Grip sort of thing, instead.
True, it affected the sales. It was a "good" video, but the image it left was horrible.
I was so excited when the era started and we were getting tons of performances I can't wait for the next era which should be even better assuming Epic promote it properly unlike FLOPCA.
