Oh man, there is so much awesome stuff going on here: Britney kicking that dude's ass at the beginning, those ****ing hot sex scenes, the gorgeously shot Bonnie and Clyde-like ending, and Britney looking (drop dead) beautiful throughout. I LOVE IT!
This music video really is perfect and flawless in every way. The PTC are gunna be pissed as hell but who cares what they think?! This era's music videos have been amazing, 10 years on Britney still slaying the competition.
Video of the Year. It's perfect. Absolutely brilliant. The best video this era so far, very high budget yet again, and she doesn't look dead in the eyes. She looks flawless from her head to toes in every single shot.
I'd totally advocate for Britney to work exclusively with Chris Marrs Piliero from here on out... or until they create a crappy video together. For one, I think this video demonstrates that he has more of a directorial range than his well-known (and decidedly goofy) works like "Blow" or "I Wanna Go" might suggest, but more importantly, he seems to bring out the very best in his stars. In front of his camera, Britney seems more confident and focused than she has in many years. He seems to be in tune with Britney's passion. He's figured out how to tap into her vibrant personality. I can assume these fantastic performances are the result of a special connection/understanding that's developed in the short time they've worked together, but whatever the case, it's undeniable that they're a good pairing. I can only imagine that any future projects they might pursue together would be just as fantastic, if not even more amazing.
