While you wait for the new Hot 100, make sure to listen to episode 3 of the ATRL Charts Podcast, in which we discuss the current situation surrounding High By The Beach! (Part 1 | Part 2)
Billboard is trying to do something shady. Something is up. I worked there I know how they roll. Their tech stack is a POS as are their contractors.... I'm not surprised by the charts aren't up on time.
If billboard does come out and say "sorry we messed up.. Lana your not number 7, sorry for getting your numbers wrong... You're actually number 27" then they are pieces of sh**. Like how could they do that... But I don't think it'll happen. That would be so embarrassing.
They've done it before, but in far more lowkey ways (Applause peaking at #4 rather than #3) and a lot faster - that was within like an hour, I think.
Completely unexpected sales, which don't match up with any evidence we really have
The chart being hella late with no explanation
They've been having issues with their streaming numbers lately, it may have spilled over into sales or something
Streaming issues spilling over and corrupting digital sales figures? That doesn't really make sense though, does it? Plus, they've already published the article saying she IS #7, why would they do that if they weren't sure?
Sticky situation, I hope she stays winning and haters pressed as usual

Well, the evidence points in that direction for now. So do we all, so do we all.

I agree. How embarrassing for BB if it is a mistake. But I doubt it is. That's too big of a mistake for anyone with a brain to make. Those numbers aren't just being pulled out of their *****

Stop embarrassing a whole fanbase, srsly.
It is crystal clear that they try to fix the mistake.
So I am now listening to this weeks "Bilboard Pop Shop" podcast and they didn't mention Lana at all in the Hot 100 discussion...
But they did mention that "Love Myself" and "Black Magic" debuted in the 90s.

This thread is messier than the one when they included YouTube views into the Hot 100
No, nothing will ever top that. I came home from school that day tired af af and went to bed then woke up and it was like an explosion happened when I saw the thread hours late.
Then the whole month of it first being included was so messy n.
It was on preorder for less than a day and only got to #7 before release. It is literally impossible for preorders to count for a nearly 180k difference from the usually reliable Kworb estimates.
Nothing ever comes close to the SOKO SITUATION...After that week..Soko was hailed as the new ATRL Queen of Pop and the week after that..when she dropped off the Hot 100..almost everyone disposed/dismissed her
