that is actually not that much for a X factor winner. Alexandra sold 576K in first week and its sold 1,195,000 so far. It also ended up as the biggest selling single of the year. You need to remember that there is actually another week left in the year, so matt will have to decrease a lot for him not to get that #1 at year end chart.

They've released 6 foot 7 foot in the UK, already.
His label always ruins some chance of success in the UK. Just like with Right Above it, they released it the same time in the UK as in the US. Airplay is important in the UK for a songs success. They should of waited till it was on radio (prob only urban radio) for a month then release is properly.

Only Girl is falling in the UK At least it got platinum, I just really wanted it to be a million seller.

Wmn? is coming for that #1 spot

I think he will decrease more than that. Most of that 400K was from the first 2 days after X Factor, by next week, even more of the hype would of wore off. the only problem next week is the monster physical sales. The physical release of the song was on Wednesday, and next week is actually xmas so people might go into HMV and buy his single as a present. but the same goes with wmn? aswell
