I didn't generalize a thing, that parade had like <200 people obviously that isn't all Muslims or all that live in Jakarta/Indo.

Christians and Jews can make up 0.1 percent of Morocco and that wouldn't change the fact that it ISNT a Muslim country. It's Muslim run but has locals who aren't Muslims.

I talked about Madonna in Abu Dhabi because it's my country and the show is ironically also on June 3rd, I.e the same day that Gaga is set to perfom in Jakarta.

Jakarta Police announced that Monday is the deadline for Lady Gaga concert promoter Big Daddy to file all requirements needed to get a concert permit.

“[Jakarta] Police will wait at the latest until Monday,” Jakarta Police spokesman Sr. Comr. Rikwanto said as quoted by detik.com in a press conference on Saturday.

He said the promoter had not filed all the requirements including a work permit for Lady Gaga that must be issued by the Manpower and Transmigration Ministry and a permit from the Tourism Agency of the Jakarta government.

“They only have a permit from the Tourism [and Creative Economy] Ministry,” Rikwanto said.

“The promoter did not make any progress. We will see on Monday whether they have completed the requirements.”

After the promoter files all the requirements, at the latest three days prior to the concert, the National Police will announce whether or not the permit will be issued.

Big Daddy could not be reached for comment.

I hope they deny the permit since she seems intent on performing. I'm all for her not backing down to protests or changing her material to please a few who oppose her beliefs, but when death threats and violence are involved it's a totally different situation.

I hope Big Daddy is able to get the permit. Would hate for Indonesian monster to miss the show of their life. I'm gonna pray for Gaga's safety but I know her team is gonna be super tight on security. I wonder are they gonna check ppl like the do us in airports in America?
