I've had the biggest meltdown today, as they were announced 3 months ago to perform in my country during a big festival and they suddenly canceled the whole show, without giving out a single valid reason, official statement regarding the cancellation or anything at all.
The only reason why I paid a lot for that ticket is because of them. Not even counting the money I'll have to spend on the 350 miles I have to travel now because I already own the ticket and won't even get to see them.
What makes it even worse is the fact that this is the 2nd time they do this over here. Back in 2013, they were invited to perform at the same festival, announced as performers and later cancelled, right before the festival.
It's really hard for f ans like us because a show cancellation in my country is definitely more devastating for a true fan than it for a english or american fan. That's because we don't have any guarantee that they'll visit the country early or anymore, ever, at all.
They didn't give out any single official statement, no ticket re funds, no nothing. They even added another show, a festival show on the same date (August 13th) when they needed to perform over here, in Malaesia.
I think this is totally unprofessional and it being the second time they do this to us, I firmly hope that this is the last time any company tries to bring them in my country, because they're total hypocrites and can't stick to their words, not once.
It's definitely the last time for me that I will spend a coin on them, whether it's their music or a tour ticket.
There's hundreds of real fans and thousands of casual fans which waited for them to come here and finally perform their new record. What are we left with now? A broken promise and no explanations.
