Church and state: It's strange that in theory the UK has a state religion and the US has separation of church and state yet in practice it seems more like the other way round...I think the two should be kept as far away from each other as possible.
Legalisation: Countries that have lax laws have less drug abuse problems; make of that what you will
Everyone that wants to use weed finds a way to do it anyways and the legality of it in a lot of Countries is kind of in a grey area at the moment. It is less harmful than alcohol in some ways and less addictive than tobacco, on one hand I think to each their own but I wouldn't do it and I wouldn't be too pleased if say a boyfriend lit up beside me.
It is a gateway drug at the moment though and legalising it may reduce the amount of people trying harder drugs because their 'dealer' suggests it. I know people that got addicted to meth that way and it totally ruined their lives.
I think it should be allowed for some reasons....
1. It is not as bad as alcohol which is already legal
2. It could possibly stop the horrific drug trade
3. People will find a way to obtain it illegally anyway

Animal Rights
Viewed as Persons or Property?
Should animals be looked at the same as humans? (Status)?
Should they be used as food, clothing, research subjects, or for entertainment?
Animal rights is a tricky thing for me. While I do agree that they should be looked at as humans, it doesn't apply to some situations. Like for food, people will eat meat, there is no stopping that. And it's nutritious, so why not? The other animals do it, so why should we not include humans? But for research, no! HELL NO! They should have the same rights in that respect as humans. Clothing, nope! Make fake clothes! For the circus, maybe. While I have never witnessed any type of abuse in a circus myself, I am sure there has been some.

Once again we agree.... this is getting kind of creepy now...
Animal's obviously deserve right's.
I love animals and feel very strongly about protecting their rights because HUMAN'S aren't the only one's who inhabit the planet+we're actually killing the planet.
Btw i want a puppy next month for my b-day:
Siberian!

Agree. I like your point about we're actually killing the planet, because that is definitely true.
They should be slaughtered mercilessly for food and clothing, especially cute little puppies and kittens. As for research, they should be subject to chemical baths if necessary.
