There are prompts, but some are more open ended than others.

Some examples are the "Twitter" challenge, where you can, thematically, write whatever you want, as long as the song is under 140 words, and the "Forbidden Letter" challenge, where, again, you can write whatever you want, as long as a specified letter is not present anywhere in your song.

These challenges aren't necessarily in this season, but like I said those are just examples.

The first week will be the only challenge without some sort of direction or concept given to you. But none of the challenges will be too restricting, you'll get a chance to be creative and play around

The game is about lyrics, original lyrics of course. You get a challenge once a week and then you get 5 days to write a song that's appropriate for each challenge. Then, the judges give you feedback and scores. The player(s) with the lowest score(s) is/are eliminated at the end of each round. If you need any other explanation, I'm here for you (until I go to bed ), but everything will be explained on Sunday morning when the first challenge is announced
