It's not that it's ''weird'', it's the tone of it. She sounds kind of shrill sometimes, so I can't really listen to her nonstop.

As for the Utada rumors there were rumors from similar sources about Namie making her American debut and returning to Kouhaku this year and we all know how that turned out.

Not saying she isn't coming back next year but I wouldn't say it's confirmed just yet.
