Not sure about the main show but he flew out there.

He also worked on Bruno's album (though it isn't nominated for AOTY) so he could be attending for him too.

But likely he went out to accept the Skyfall "Visual Media" award, if it wins (which I can't imagine it won't after all of the other awards that it's won)
