Hung Up never even went Top 40 on Overall Radio in US. The US public isn't aware of that hit. It went T10 from doing good digital.

Not rlly, everyone knows the Hot 100 formula in 2005-mid 2006 was absolutely horrible, and very very leaned towards digital sales even if the public had no clue about the songs.

Examplez:
HSM's Breaking Free went #4 on H100 after going #1 on digital, despite 0 radio stations playing it.

Gwen Stefani's 'Wind It Up' went #6 on H100 after going Top 10 on digital, and not even being Top 50 on Radio.

The chart should be far more based on digital sales than radio airplay. People don't decide what gets played on the radio, but they do decide what gets to top the iTunes charts, and they have to pay for it. Everyone knew about the iconic High School Musical anyway.
