I'll never get bleaching your skin but I guess I've been lucky enough to never have been told my dark skin was ugly. I've only ever gotten compliments. But besides that I really do LOVE my skin color. Bleaching seems too risky anyway.

I was just watching hella documentaries on that. A lot of it happens in Jamaica, Africa, Philipines, etc.

It's actually really interesting. The funny thing is, I've seen a good handful of those creams at this beauty supply store I go to for hair stuff.

It doesn't even matter if you are black trying to get light, or light trying to get dark. If you are changing your color to either "fit in more" or because you think its more "beautiful" you hate yourself.

I can't imagine hating myself to the point I'm bleaching my skin.
