Stefani needs to take a few lessons in minimalism. Her high profile artwork (i.e., albums) is often too overwrought in an attempt to make a visual impact.
The same goes for the tracklisting of her albums. I began to appreciate BTW and ARTPOP a lot more after I made custom tracklistings with like 5 less songs each.
