Just when back listening through some recent covers (God Only Knows) to analyse vocals to this snippet and she can definitely reach that tone that's in the snippet. Yes she does sing with a deeper tone, but she also sings with a higher tone. You also have to take in the fact this is a soft/easy tone airy relaxed type of song, which would be how the song is meant to be sung.
I just re-listened to the snippet for about the 17th time, I still think it can be her, the only doubt I'm having about the snippet is how the word 'side' is sung, I'm pretty sure she doesn't sing 'side' like with that type of accent. But apart from that, all I can hear is Kesha with how she usually pronounces her words when she sings.
