Just remember, just because something is "Poppy" sounding does not mean it is "Pop" in the generic sense. Although, MM, is all about pop, he does not have control over the Swift brand. He is a producer and a facilitator, If the Genius of Taylor approaches him to facilitate the production, it can only mean that the album will be better than genius. My point is that Taylor is still the back-bone of her own music. If other artists with a bad back-bone have approached MM, then their album would not be that great. But Taylor, is always Taylor and has a genius that can only be better by the production. I think with MM, it is like shining a shoe. If the shoe is beyond repair or has too many scuffs to begin with, it doesn't matter how much you shine it. But if the shoe is already shining, then shining it further makes it shinier. I am not too worried, because Taylor is still the one who is the main genius here, not MM.
