"Stay" had a Grammy performance to create momentum and its AI is nearly double JGMAR's so its expected to be doing better right now.
"Stay" is my favorite Rihanna song ever and is one of the few Rihanna songs that actually deserve the #1 spot but I don't think it's likely. I would like all 3 to go #1 because ballads need to return and it would be awesome to see 3 #1 ballads in 2013 but they all released at the same time. One of them will block the others.
Once "Harlem Shake" and "Thrift Shop" die one of the ballads will take the top spot. By that time, WIWYM should have huge AI so it might squeeze in a week or two at #1 but "Stay" will have to have much more sales than WIWYM. By the time HS & TS die, JGMAR will have much higher AI & sales and will likely have multiple weeks at #1. Bruno or P!nk (more likely) will block Rihanna.
Let me just put this out there, I think Money Makes Her Smile would be a ****ing brilliant single choice. I have not seen one person agree with me on this yet though.
