Like I'm only required to take Science for two years, then I can take a Science elective (Astronomy, etc.) or take Chemistry in 11th and Physics in 12th.

4 years of CTE (Career Technical Education)
There not year long though.

End of High School career you have a possibility of graduating with 32 credits. You can fail 4 classes your entire career.

4 credits of English
4 of Social Studies
3 for Science
3 for Math
1 or 3 for Language, depending on type of diploma you want.
1 for art/music
2 for PE
1 or 3.5 for electives, depending on diploma.
