Because people judge you by the company you keep and as nice, sweet, intelligent and funny as she comes across in interviews it hasn't mattered because all people wanted to talk to her about was Justin Bieber and I am not a fan of his music or his persona and it does affect my opinion of her, mostly because she is far too good for him.
I'm just honest about it, I know that a lot of people here judge artists by their personal lives as much as their music, I still listened to her music but it was hard to stan for her with all that going on. I don't expect everyone to agree or understand.
And before yall start calling me a hater I have been repping Selena here longer than most of you have been members. She can do better than the song 'Come & Get It' and her performances can be awkward but she has her strengths too and I can respect that. WTSGD is a fantastic pop album from start to finish, like I said, I have high standards for this era.
