California stays trying to prevent the horrible mistakes of America but the flawed system never allows it to.

Honestly, the dramatics either way are nonsense. There was no clear rebuke of the MSM or elites, it was just a lower turnout of Dems because of an uninspiring candidate.
This so called 'wave' and 'movement' garnered less votes than the last two GOP candidates.
The election was literally decided by less than a percentage point in 3 states. 100,000 people across WI, PA and MI vote the other way and it's a Dem win and the media is writing the eulogy of Trump and his populist ********.
People are doing far too much.

Mitch, which part of Australia are you from? Is it nice? Do you have a spare room?

You donīt have proof of such indecency.

Plus Iīm straight and the Gays-for-Trump organization needs a straight Christian leader, so I volunteered.

They shouldn't alienate American-nationalists and they should go with the name of The American Republic of California.

This isn't fair. She deserves the presidency. Time that we fixed our outdated and flawed system.

I saw a virtual tie pre-California counting and I just knew we were going to send her flying past Trump. This is too much, let me listen to some pop music or distract myself with some trashy talk TV a la Hot Topics on Wendy.

You can stay any time sis! I live in Melbourne AKA the liberal heartland of Australia.(On the east coast we do the opposite to you guys, south is left-wing/liberal and the further north you go the more conservative it gets).
It's Australia's second biggest city after Sydney and is where the Australian Open (tennis grand slam) is.
Our new Premier (Governor) is awesome, he's recently brought in all these new LGBTQ laws that go further than I could have dreamed.
We have:
- A dedicated Minister for LGBTQ Equality
- Safe Schools which is a cute little program that gets learning about LGBTQ people and their rights in from early middle school (it was a federal program but the conservatives kicked up a fuss so it was removed but our state government has reintroduced it)
- Equal adoption rights
- They are building a new LGBTQ history and advocacy/health/support centre in the city.
Not to mention we are the sporting, shopping, events, cultural, arts and food capital of Australia. Gets a bit chilly in winter, gets down to 40F, but our summers are nice and warm, getting up to 100F regularly.
Y'all would love it here. As you know we are still waiting for Marriage equality but it's a federal issue, and will hopefully be sorted at the next (2019) election. In the mean time you can register as a 'de-facto' relationship which has all the same rights as marriage (tax, wills, hospital, etc).
Honestly, it's a great place to live.

Wyoming's 2010 population was 563,767, meaning that each of their three electoral votes represents 187,922 people. California's 2010 population was 37,254,503, which means that each of their 55 electoral votes represents 677,355 people.

As you know I met this Australian band from Melbourne and there's also this Australian I chat with who loves Eurovision (how we bumped into each other) and he sent me a CD and he's from Victoria too and is staying in Melbourne. Your region's impact. Let me add it to my wishlist.

Oh yeah, I remember now. The three Romney stans in that thread were throwing shade that Obama was 'beaten' in the popular vote then California came in with more than 7 mil

If you do, just do Syd & Melb, the other cities are trash. But if you are into hiking/nature go town to Tasmania where we have our best state parks, etc. And there are theme parks in Queensland if you are into those.
But yeah, Melbourne is where it is at.

I agree though, we'll trade in the heartland for the very southern tips of the country.
