Well, a little tidbit from the books that many don't know is that High Priest Benerro, the most important figure in the R'Hllor religion is the wisest one. And he has known for a while Azor Ahai is Daenerys Targaryen. Melissandre is not even that good reading the flames.

He's the one that realized there are many fates that could unfold according to what the flames told him, and thus to secure maximum profit he sent a Red Priest to each and one of the Kings aiming for the throne, to make sure his religion was the one winning in the end no matter who won the war of the five Kings.

He sent Melissandre of Ashai to Stannis Baratheon, he recently sent Moqorro to Daenerys Targaryen as the flames revealed he could reach her through the Greyjoys and he sent Thoros of Myr to Robert Baratheon.

In the end, no matter who wins, Benerro intends the Religion of Light to dominate Westeros.

LOL Even if Gendry is alive he's not a legitimate Baratheon, he's a Waters, a bastard born in the Crownlands.

And so are most of Roberts bastards, the only exceptions I know is of Edric Storm and Myranda Stone. Born in the Stormlands and The Vale respectively. None of them are Baratheons of name, and will not, and cannot further the line of the House.

The only Baratheon capable of furthering the line is Tommen Baratheon, even if he doesn't have a drop of Baratheon blood. He's still by law the last Baratheon.

So I went back and watched the ending again and Snow's eyes get very, very dilated as the camera zooms in. I don't know if that had to do with the scene lighting or does someone know if this happens when a character wargs?

The eyes of people dilate when they die, it happens as soon as your nervous system is unable to control them.

Checking for fixed and dilated pupils is one of the things they used to look at to determine if death had occurred.

They did it to make a point he is DEAD and not surviving that.

I know pupils dilate when we die, but Kit did not die in real life lol. There has to be either a scenery lighting reason or story line reason why his pupils dilated so much. I doubt the writers would put that much into detail if he did really die.

Pretty sure it was Dany's old squad when she was married with Khal Drogo - the half that split up from her when he died.

And damn at that big Religion of Light being deeper than I thought. There've only been a handful of Red Priests/Priestesses on the show and Mel's been the only one divulged on.

Still think it's hilarious that both of those things back to back meant nothing. Yeah some drips of ice that helped a lot.

I don't get it lol he's still Gendry Waters in the show, and no King sitting in the Iron Throne will legitimate his name as Gendry Baratheon because he would immediately become the TRUE King and heir to the Stormlands.
