I miss the days of The Sims 2 where if you had a lot you would have like 20+ sims. In the Sims 3, you would have like 5 Sims, and the most they would do is wait by the entrance and talk.
They would rarely interact with the area. So yeah, I'd rather Sims 2 style than Sims 3 style.
It's basically impossible for them to make an open world that's as full as what The Sims 4 seems to be. We'd all need like 16GB of Ram if a map the Size of Sunset Valley was able to have that many Sims running around at once.
Which is why I don't mind the worlds being smaller.
